How to develop a strong Attitude?

How to develop a strong Attitude?

To understand how to develop a strong attitude, we will have to know what is attitude?

Attitude is a state of mind of a person towards a person, a thing or a situation. Attitude can be neutral, positive and negative. Attitude towards a person, a thing, or a situation is formed through analysis. Analysis can be defined as perceptions or opinions based on what we see, what we listen or what we think.

When persons, things and situations are normal, our analysis towards them are simple and our state of mind (attitude) is neutral.

When persons, things and situations are favourable considered to be expected, our analysis is clear and our state of mind (attitude) is positive.

When persons, things and situations are unfavourable considered to be unexpected, our analysis is complicated and our state of mind (attitude) is negative.

It's now clear that our analysis leads to our state of mind. We will have develop better ways of analysing persons, things and situations.

To develop better analysis, we need to enhance three important elements of life.

1. Awareness

2. Knowledge

3. Experience

Mind with developed elements of life can analyse a person, a thing or a situation better than a mind with mediocre elements of life.

When our mind is capable of analysing better, we generally transform unfavourable situations to favourable and thus remain positive even in adversity.

Let's now understand the guidelines to develop the important elements of life.

1. Awareness

Many of us are aware of a famous proverb "Like a Frog in a well". We must always consider ourselves that we are living like a fron in a well and try to learn as much as possible from people, things and sitatutions without being in a stage where we think we know everything.

Only when we have learning brain, it attracts lot of information along with positive perceptions of people, things and situations and puts us in a perfect place to analyse them better.

2. Knowledge

Knowledge which is not used or recollected is always useless. We must always share our knowlege to gain more knowledge. If we don't share our knowledge, we would fail to analyse things in different angles.

3. Experience

Experience is a self teacher with zero cost. We learn many things from experience. We become wiser when we are more experienced. A wise mind is always a perfect mind to analyse things in life.

Conclusion:

As clearly explained in the above article, to develop a strong attitude, we need to first work on three important elements of life. When we develop them, we will be in a good position to analyse a person, a thing or a situtation which leads to positive attitude.
