Our intentions are clear with our emotions. Right expressions communicate right emotions and we and our thoughts are understood by everyone.

Use Body Language:

To influence people and to create an impact, we need to use our body language apart from the medium of instructions.

Let’s see the expressions for communication:

Smile:

People who greet and start a conversation with a smile always make others very comfortable to gain attention or to start a conversation positively. Students must remember that smile can be a solution for many problems in life.

Usage:

1.      Smile to start a conversation / to greet someone / when you listen to others’ happy situation.

2.      Smile to show your friendliness and comfort levels to others.

3.      Smile to end the conversation / to thank someone / to congratulate others / wish good occasions of people.

Impact:

1.      People respond positively and become friends

2.      Gain more information due to long conversations

3.      People remember for a long time

Eye Contact:

People at home always catch the intentions of other family members by observing their eyes. Eye contact plays a major role in communicating your opinion to people. Students must always have eye contact while communicating with others.

Usage:

1.      While communicating with people, look into the eyes and speak.

2.      Look into the eyes of the speaker while listening to his / her speech and acknowledge.

2.      Clarity in explanation.

Gestures:

Explanation is complete when gestures are used positively to make others understand a concept. Non verbal gestures are closely observed by the audience to relate their understanding with the concept.

Usage:

1.      Use your hands and fingers positively to express a concept

2.      While classifying many points, we can use our fingers to denote the points of a concept to make others to watch those fingers and understand.

1.      It delivers a compact explanation of a concept.

2.      It also shows both attitude and intentions of a person.

Body Posture:

Good attitude is revealed by the body postures of a person through the way we sit, stand, and hold hands and legs.

Students must be very careful in the way they carry themselves in terms of their body posture to reflect a good attitude.
